Review of the 20th Match of the 2025/26 Super League | Selangor FC 4-0 Imigresen FC | Proud of the Players’ Response

Selangor FC recorded a convincing 4-0 victory over Imigresen FC in the Super League 2025/26 Matchweek 20 fixture at Stadium MBPJ, Kelana Jaya yesterday.

The team controlled the match from the early stages and opened the scoring in the 28th minute through Chrigor Moraes, who calmly finished a pass from Faisal Halim. The Red Giants doubled their advantage just before half-time when Zikri Khalili found the net in stoppage time after being set up by Alvin Fortes, giving Selangor a 2-0 lead at the break.

Selangor continued to dominate the match as Chrigor Moraes scored his second goal of the night in the 79th minute after receiving a well-placed pass from Fortes. Substitute Vitor Pernambuco then completed the emphatic win in stoppage time, finishing a pass from Faisal Halim to seal a 4-0 victory for the Red Giants.

According to Selangor FC Head Coach Kim Pan-gon, he was proud of the response shown by the players following the previous match.

“First of all, I’m proud of the players. We were not at our best in the last match. They showed a very good reaction in training this week and bounced back well. If we want to become a better team, we must continue to improve in certain areas. Sometimes we do not create many chances, but when the opportunities come, we must be more clinical in finishing them,” said Kim Pan-gon.

“I’m also very fortunate to have the full support of the players and the club. Strong competition will help us become a stronger team. Step by step we are trying to build this team and develop our own strengths. This process will continue to motivate the players and increase the team’s confidence. I would also like to thank the supporters for their continued support,” he added.

This week, Selangor FC will face Kuala Lumpur City FC at Stadium Cheras, Kuala Lumpur on 15 March in the Super League 2025/26 Matchweek 21 fixture. The match is scheduled to kick off at 10pm ahead of the Hari Raya celebrations.

For supporters who are unable to attend the match at the stadium, you are invited to join the club’s Watch Party, a live screening organised at Suasana Market Hall starting at 9pm.

Selangor FC Management would also like to congratulate and thank the supporters who came to show their unwavering support at Stadium MBPJ, Kelana Jaya yesterday.
